Hey, it’s Hezekiah. Welcome! I’m an independent writer and researcher. My roots blend with Ladino-Messianic Jewish and Native American heritage. I’m also a believer in Christ with no denomination.

You may be wondering, what is Civil Bible Blog about? That’s an insightful query—there is much to explore here. A prominent issue in our society is that many believers drift from the faith.

These individuals often battle with trauma, deep sadness, or other ongoing emotional challenges.

When difficult questions or criticisms arise that challenge one’s faith, it diminishes the sense of urgency to follow Christ. Who will then defend these novice believers?

Other common issues which affect Christians include responding to Islam, or atheistic arguments concerning evil. These may relate to the existence of God.

Even the disapproval of individuals with mental health disorders are quite prevalent. Such ideas demonstrate the significance of Biblical reconciliation.

I started this blog to educate others about social issues through a Biblical and philosophical framework. My goal is to approach sensitive issues with responsibility and clarity—avoiding reactionary conclusions.

As an independent writer, I focus on mental health, social analysis, comparative religion, and identity.

Alongside writing, I engage in structure-based projects—particularly in language, systems thinking, and disciplined learning—as part of a broader commitment to formation.

Personal experiences that influence me were facing discrimination in churches, or public schools, or even in healthcare organizations on the basis of my mental health, race, and beliefs.

As a youth, that emotional turmoil delayed my education. Encounters with psychological trauma have shaped my faith in Christ. Through those experiences, I felt a strong conviction to teach what I’ve learned.

Today, my purpose is guided by my relationship with God. My work is developed through ongoing study and applied practice in theology or social analysis.

I enjoy teaching spiritual disciplines, and addressing faith-based issues. I aim to encourage like-minded believers in a rather conventional manner, with an emphasis on the Gospel.

When I’m not writing, you can find me fixing my routine, integrating with life, learning Arabic, personal projects, and doing full-time college.

A personal blog means you get the whole me <3
