Hey, it’s Hezekiah. Though, others might know me as Micah Dragoo. Welcome! I’m an independent writer with roots in Jewish, Native American, and Mexican heritage. A nondenominational Christian writer.
One prominent issue in our society is that many believers drift from the faith. These are individuals who battle with trauma, deep sadness, or other ongoing emotional challenges of distractions. When difficult questions arise that challenge one’s faith, it diminishes the sense of urgency to follow Christ. Who will then defend these novice believers?
Other common issues which affect Christians include, responding to Islamic objections to the Bible. Or, atheistic arguments concerning the existence of God. Another is explaining the presence of evil. How the disapproval of individuals with mental health disorders is quite prevalent. These ideas demonstrate the significance of Biblical reconciliation. And they encapsulate my work. Civil Bible Blog aims to analyze Scripture along with mental health by integrating them through reflection, composition, and engagement with others.
I started this blog as a personal space to educate others about social issues in a philosophical way. Personal experiences that influence me were facing discrimination in churches or public facilities on the basis of my health, race, and beliefs. As a youth, that emotional turmoil delayed my education. Encounters with psychological trauma have shaped my faith in Christ. Through those experiences, I felt a strong conviction to teach what I’ve learned.
Today, my purpose is guided by my relationship with God, hobbies, teaching spiritual disciplines, and addressing faith-based issues. I am able to encourage like-minded believers in a rather conventional manner, with an emphasis on the Gospel. When I’m not writing, you can find me practicing Modern Standard Arabic, programming, martial arts, and studying. Or, gaming.
